Live FAST: Meet me in Zihutanjeo

When pepper, Live FAST Magazine's new in-house creative studio debuted at Agenda Tradeshow we designed everything from wall graphics to publications, business cards and postcards, for their booth.

Meet Me in Zihuatanejo Second Edition by Magdalena Wosinska, is a travel guide to Zihuatanejo, Mexico. Produced in collaboration with Zihuatanejo-based creative space Loot MX, we produced a second edition of the publication and also used the travel guide as concept for the full boot.

Promoting ethical tourism in a developing hub of Mexico and offering the insight of a local. Meet Me in Zihuatanejo features breathtaking images from Magdalena Wosinska taken over a series of trips and words from Madison O’Neill, a travel writer who was based in Zihuatanejo for a good chunk of time.

152-page sewn-bound book, 2nd edition of 700.
A Live FAST media LLC production.

One possible name for the origin of the name Zihuatanejo might be from Nahuatl (Cihuatlán) meaning "place of women." Cihuatlán, or "place of women," refers to the western paradise of the Nahuatl universe, the home of the “goddess women.” According to tradition, these women arose in the afternoon to lead the sun at dusk to the realm of the dead, to give a dim light to the dead.
